Great stuff. On the battery pack, i prefer to make my own with removable 18650 batteries, so i can replace and recharge them OUT of the pack. This way, i don't need to worry about balancing or over-charging them. Thanks for the video.

@@englishrupe01 The lack of balance charging is the cause for pack failure. With a diy pack, you always have the option of fixing and replacing any bad cells because you know how the pack is put together. The Hyper Tough battery pack is cheap enough to diy a moot point. I only do it for the fun of it.

Super cool. Bauer also uses the same 10k resistance for their temp protection. Plus dewalt batteries fit on them with just a little casement modification. Easy

@@mrb3888Good batteries are worth it. Cheap battery packs run out of steam much sooner. A backup battery,store bought or diy, allows you to recharge your good battery without making you abandoning your work.
