what i learned is it's actually totally okay to mess up. remember that the thread is not actually visible once it's flipped inside out, so if you use similar colored thread to the fabric it'll be more difficult to notice mistakes. i also spaced them weird but that also doesn't matter too much, the result is still objectively a pillow. you're doing this to learn and it's okay to make mistakes, so go ahead and make plenty of mistakes great video and i'm glad i found it. had finished results in only several hours shopping trip included. my vinyl miku figure has a pillow to sit on now and she's so adorable. it looks like it makes her happy.
