A project I’ve always wanted to do, but as you say overly complicated on some vids with LCD screens etc. I like what you have done and well within this scrappers skill set.
@intelligenttinkering2 жыл бұрын
Definitely agree people over complicate things. I look forward to watching you make one 👌 thanks for sharing it mate 👍

It's very cool how you made all that from just bits of stuff you had laying around. I've subbed and given it a 👍

What is the large resistor for? Load simulation (dummy load)I think you said, but why?
@intelligenttinkering2 жыл бұрын
Yes to simulat a load if you don't have one installed it can becomes unstable and shut down 👍

I don’t think you need one on the old style ATX power supply ( with an actual on/ off switch on a lead ), but I would need to look that up
@intelligenttinkering2 жыл бұрын
I tested it without one and the output voltage wasn't stable it was under what the votes should have been as soon as I put one on they went sable might be a dodgy power supply

Ah ok. I've been amassing bits to build one and fear I'd be over complicating it as a first-time build. Do like the wagu idea too. Sort of like the mains tester thing so you don't have to wire a plug on all the time
