@Inteligent tinkering - Great Video. I have a question: I first bought a Neptune 3 Max and liked it. I have recently bought a Neptune 4 Max. I ordered a spare fully assembled Extruder Kit from Elegoo and it looks the same as the 3 Max. Almost. ( Fan ducting is a bit different ). The question is: Would it work on the Neptune 3? Or is the wiring different. I have googled this but no answer. Thanks.

So my renpho r3 won't charge as well but I can't tell from watching the video which is the key step to getting it work. You used the heat gun and then you were jiggling everything but what made it work and charge again? Thanks.

Hi, Qidi sent me the upgrade videos. You MUST remove the old solid magnets before installing the soft magnet. Your video will cause people problems unless you correct it. Old magnets must be removed!!!

I was planning on getting a Neptune 4 plus since it says it can reach up to 300C and has a decent bed size. My main concern/question is it capable of printing special/engineering filament like abs or nylon? Or only a few of them? Additionally, by upgrading the hotend nozzle would it help as well? I haven't have any experience printing with advanced filaments so I'm not exactly sure what I need to consider or expect.

Honestly, I've never printed anything like that on this printer. You need a heated chamber for that, and this one doesn't have one. I think you can buy them separately, though.

Great idea Ross, well done, a very neat solution to a familiar problem, I look forward to hearing how it holds up over time ! Do you know roughly how this compares to the wooden version cost wise ( just materials of course, excluding equipment ) ?
