Update on my project... I first trimmed down the lining to be the same size as the covers. Then after quilting the outer I trimmed it down to match the lining. The cover fits my Bible perfect. I won't increase the lining but follow the measurements as originally stated on the pattern for my next cover... Thank you for the tutorial!!! It turned out so very pretty!!!

Hi Thank you for the tutorial... very pretty! One comment.... When I followed you on this tutorial and did the adjustment to the measurements to the lining as you indicated (from 1" to 2") I found that my cover pockets were too short... I should have changed the measurements of the cover pockets as well to match the lining... still working on it and will send an update when finished. I really enjoyed your tutorial, you are very easy to follow and I am pleased so far with my project :-)

Just wondering...everyone talks about frixion pens but when the product gets cold the ink returns. Have you seen that happen?

I have tested this by putting it into the freezer but other than that I have had no issues

Did you bother to watch her video and understand why she has the lining a different size?

girlgeekFL yup sure did and she’s didn’t mention anything about it. She showed drawing the lines on the fabric then switch to the finished quilted piece that was now the same size as the lining fabric. That is why I went so in depth with this video hope this helps. Maybe you can watch her video to see what I’m talking about to make more since
