I took mine to Staples and they cut, then added a spiral to it for $5! I also had them add dividers at the beginning of each section (was extra). I have done this for years and I LOVE it! Just an idea to save money and time.

I would suggest taking it to a printer or Staples or Office Max and get them to cut the binding. I think the idea of using The Happy Planner discs because you can add note pages or even put a section you needed into a Big Happy Planner. You could also use the customizable cover option to use the book covers.

I do like the way it came out, and if you were going to use the disk system for a lot of your stuff, then it seems worth the investment. (Love the heart middles of the disks!) However, you spent so much time with the Exacto knife and the punching that I would say that the Office Depot or Staples would be the way to go. (After 20 years in the classroom, I am all about saving time and money.) Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for posting this it gave me an idea on how I can use a workbook. I’m not a teacher, but I’m working on learning an ancient language that has worksheets I can print. I think I can punch them with a MAMBI punch and even take the lesson I’m working on in my planner.

I also cut a pocket folder to size from my old happy planner to put stuff in my book, like note pages, etc..it turned out so cute but I can't figure out how to add a picture

Love this!! FYI- Michael's, Joann's and Hobby Lobby all except competitor coupons! :) So you can totally use a 50% off even when your store isn't offering it. - Just bring a copy of the coupon.

This looks cute. Just a heads up, I got the Reading & Writing Strategies sliced and binded along with adding a cover for like $12 total for all of it. They binded it on a spiral binding and I love it!!!

Minerva Torres I took both of my books to Staples. They did it all for me, it cost as much as it did because I added a clear, plastic overlay cover and a back cover to preserve the book. The total for both wasn’t more than $15.

This is the first video of yours I have seen so I don’t know anything about you yet, if you are familiar with happy planner... do you think the classic size punch would work or would you suggest getting the jumbo? My teacher planner is HP so it wouldn’t be a huge thing to just buy the bigger punch and have both. Thought I would check. Thanks so much!
