You don't have to sandpaper it, but I think it definitely helps for the longevity of the bling staying in place. Totally worth a shot to see if it holds up...if you use Fusion-Tack, like I did in the video, its really strong and would probably hold up great without sanding!

You just gave me the best idea for my machine. It was $$$$ when I bought it and 2 weeks after I bought it I lit it on fire ( by mistake). My candle got a bit too close. It looks awful in the small place that burned/melted ( not to mention the smell of burned plastic). It never did anything to it mechanically but it’s ugly in that spot. I think I will bling it up on that part so it looks cute!
