This is the Box - A bluetooth portal speaker designed and created by Curt. This wireless speaker PUMPS and also runs for about 10 hours at mid-high output. Fully wireless with an optional AUX cable port for your old-school friends ;)

Built my first home built set with a small leftover box from a Cheap set of speakers. Used a Gefco long throw rubber suround 8" woofers, and Philips Dome tweeters after hearing a similar set of drivers a friend put in a bigger box with 2 woofers and tweeters. Loved it, later added a bigger box and Realistic 1.5 Dome midrange speakers. Just simple caps for crossovers. I have run these same v2 boxes since the early 80s and they still sound great. They are sealed and the bigger box added some low bass and output and the mids added to the middle range nicely and it has a high dispersion very clean and smooth sound. I later added a cheap but decent 12" powered sub and I still love it all these years later. I couldn't afford to buy the quality of sound I wanted so I built it myself. Nice thing is if I hear a driver I like better I can always swap it in, or if one ever blows up. I drive them with about 110 watts a channel, 4 ohms, and the receiver has a lot more than that for a short burst. Rubber surround suspension will last almost forever compared to foam too.

Very nice! Did you use any polyfill inside to soften the resonances and add virtual space? Got specs on the battery pack and charge system? Is it Class D or analog/linear? What drivers? lots of questions... but it looks like we may be related... at least have a common Friend.

Awesome beautifull build! Completely off-topic, but oould you advise him to please mind his lower back more ? Working on the floor, like I used to do... Now after surgery my back still hurts all day, every day. You don't feel anything, untill it's too late. Ironing boards are cheap, he could use one or two with a wooden plank on top to work on. At completely max output it’ll die faster, but putting out a decent volume it’s got a long life. The way I listen, it lasts for more than 10 hours.
