Can't wait to see this car when you're done with it. I really like the close-up shots of the service and the thorough explanation of every step - thanks for that!

@@DeadEndRestorations God bless bro. You are 100% right! Don't have the money to afford a e34 right now but hope to one day be able to work on it like you do was very inspiring to watch like opening up a hobby you never knew you had. When and if that day comes one day just know I will come back and rewatch all of these videos step by step sweating my ass off probably dropping the phone on my face a million times trying to do a few things haha. Just know you a legend forever in history just for uploading these videos screw what youtube thinks!

Sorry you got rid of the 530i. Upgrades of various systems would have been great. Much enjoyed!!

Word of caution, I used to use that brake lube that you have from Canadian Tire and found it didn't work well, had to re-grease my sliders annually or my calipers would bind. Switched to 3M silicone, more expensive, but haven't had issues since.

Good to know, crappy tire strikes again! Thx!

3M silicone recommendation noted. Thanks.

Wouldn’t it be a small investment/effort to repaint the calipers while they were off? Loving the content and currently watching all your videos!

Glad to hear it thanks man!! I thought about it but they can’t be seen through the wheels but if I get bigger wheels I may do it… have a set of oem m5 throwing stars that i need to refinish 🤩

Whats up! Great video man. I have an e32 from -89. What happens if you unscrew the brake-lines from the ABS to the car, like the side that goes to the brakes.
@DeadEndRestorations10 ай бұрын
Thanks! Apparently if you get air in this early generation ABS system it needs a professional to disassemble it and get the air out. Why do you need to disconnect it?

If I only change the rear brakes do I have to bleed the front brakes too? And if I change the brake fluid, it is necessary to bleed all the brakes?
@DeadEndRestorations11 ай бұрын
If you're bleeding them you may as well bleed all 4 corners, this way you have fresh fluid in the entire system. Good luck!
@zacharywiggins376810 ай бұрын
So no fancy tricks with the abs system to bleed the brakes besides not running it dry?
@DeadEndRestorations10 ай бұрын
Nope :)

i just had to buy a new bleeder screw the rear drivers side was rounded off on the top, can i do the front 2 yet or should i wait until i can get this one done first?
@DeadEndRestorations18 күн бұрын
wait because you want to bleed the rears first then the fronts. good luck!
