braiding your own hair is NO JOKE. i've been doing it since i was 14 (almost 18 now) and it's still a struggle but we thuggin it out lol. it feels reassuring seeing a pro like you have hiccups. even with the best mirror setup, parting is such a menace. you ate this style though, i wanna do this for my prom

You uploading this when I literally have 5 rows left on my hair is serendipitous. I’m just doing small box braids though. I did x small boho knotless with YWigs hair in October and baybee it took me 5 days…2 full days and the rest was a few hours after work. It was my first time doing boho and knotless so I’m sure that was part of the reason. The hair also shedded for me…a lot. But it was so pretty and I received so many compliments. I’ve been braiding my own hair for years and they shoulders and fingers be hurting when you bout done. Your parts and the entire style look immaculate btw. ❤
@Dopeaxxxpana Жыл бұрын
ohhhh girl you got super patience cus 5 days oh no baby I would've had to just gone head and take those out lol and xtra small.. that's commitment. ive used their hair a couple times and didnt get the shedding did you braid enough in? im just curious you know I like to let ppl know the real.
@misjuiceefroot Жыл бұрын
@@DopeaxxxpanaI don’t know 🤔. I used two full bundles I did 2 or 3 pieces per braid since they were x-small and I didn’t want it to be bushy. Please give me some tips because I loved the style but I couldn’t deal with the shedding. 😩😂 Also, once I use up this in my stash, I’m definitely going to cop that dope collection edge control. I see the reviews and it looks like it’s 🔥 I’m local and I saw that you do pickup, so that’s perfect.

Loving the DIY content.. When I do my hair I use the 3 Way Mirror and pre-part my hair the day before then throw it in a bun (in case I have to leave the house).. that way the stressful part is over and I can get comfortable, put on a show/movie, and braid

Kudos Pana!🎉 Love this DIY look! My heart was going out to you watching the parting at the beginning. I was like, if I could only hand her a rat tail comb through this phone! You are the real deal, tho! Having the extra mirror is critical to the mission. I have been braiding my own hair forever too (since middle school), but something happened after age 30... and now parting is on day 1, and braiding is day 2+ (depending on size of braids)! Lol. 😂 Happy New Year! Peace, blessings, and prosperity to you and yours!

@@Dopeaxxxpanaooo okay soo one thing I did was make my own 3-way mirror to help with parting. I know you might not continue to do your own parts like you said in the vid but the 3-way mirror definitely helps! If you’re willing to make it it’s better imo. They definitely sell them but I feel those are way smaller than the mirrors you can find/use creating it yourself. The guys video I watched isn’t available anymore but here’s who also used his video: HighsAndLows diy cut system

I think I’m gonna part my whole head in rows. Then braid my roots a few inches another day, and prep the hair, then the third day actually braid down and add hair….i think half the issue is we get impatient so I’m hoping that helps me get thru it. Would love to see “boneless knotless” where the braids are basically same density as the persons real hair, thin small braids.
