Part for me is that it’s encouraging to know that it’s gonna take time. I pressure myself into thinking that I need to be done at a certain time and I think that’s part of my problem with reading my own hair, braiding my daughters hair and braiding people that I know that want me to do their hair. I get a little about the time, but I also know that I do really well when I take my time. So now I know it’s gonna take time to braid your hair and a lot of that makes me feel a lot better and I think I will be way more encouraged to doing other peoples hair and to not worry about the time it’s gonna take and I’m going to do my hair, especially in my daughters hair. I just installed Boho Soft Locs so I feel your pain! I washed, blow dried parted and loose plated my hair 1 day and did the install over the next 2 days….about 15 hours total for the actual install. I don't like me with the really long braids because its the hair that is plastic. So what i had in my mind to do is the human hair 28 inches long. I was going to braid my hair all the way down an just pull out the human hair. I'm 74 year old and because of young people like you, I am going to try. What was that Gospel station you were listening to? My condolences to you and your family. I know the feeling. I just lost 3 people that i have known and loved for over 45 years. Bright side it that now you have 3 more people looking over you. And yes I’d say try the human hair.. it’s way lighter. Feels like I had my natural hair braided when I used only human hair for my braids. You will look beautiful in 28” yes mam!!! 💕🥰

Great video 💯👏🏾👏🏾 🥰 i used to take a break too. I would section my whole head with those little black rubber bands and then I would do the back first with the braiding and then do the front the next day or so. I like doing it this way because if I had to go to the store or something I could always throw a hat on. But it was always fun to create a new style so I loved it! It’s work, but it comes out great 🥰💯

Okayyyyy friend! I hear you! That’s what’s up you did these! 🥰😎 I’m totally in love with boho braids of any kind. That’s a good question because if you wash them you may lose the original curl pattern. 1. Get a spray bottle and try wetting just one braid and see how it dry. If you don’t like it/ lose the curl pattern 2. Try using dry shampoo( I got mine from Ross $4). That’s what I did for my last braided style when I used loose wave human hair. It was weighed down by so much oil I put on my scalp but that dry shampoo did it! Fluffed it right back up w/o losing the curl 💕
