DIY Build a Wooden Paddle Board - SUP San Marcos - Difficult Strip - Ep 10

Hey Chuck, maybe i missed something or maybe you havent got that far yet. What about the underside of the top deck, does it get a coat of epoxy also? And how?

hi! I am not going to try to epoxy the underside of the deck. I suppose that you could take a small roller and try to get back up under there but I fully expect the whole thing to be completely water tight. The coat in the interior that I previously did was probably not necessary either but I was working on another project, had extra epoxy mixed up and used the rest on the inside of the bottom and then after I figured to just do all. Even that adds a certain amount of weight which is why, probably others don't do it at all.
