Hi, newbie to paddle boards with a few (dumb) questions lol. How is durability using Gorilla vs epoxy? Looking for something to fish from on the freshwater lakes where I live so the ability to strap on a small cooler / minimal gear and stability is a factor. Could pad eyes be attached to strap on gear, strap to the roof of my car, etc? FYI, I'm an experienced kayaker / canoeist that built both my kayaks and canoe from plans (no kits). I'm currently boatless and was looking for a quick build that's also a more ultra-light / inexpensive / minimalist set-up that can easily be hauled to the coast (4 hour drive) on my 25 year old Civic's roof. edit: the canoe I built was VERY wide at 38" beam and I've done A LOT of "stand up" canoeing lol...so I've always been interested in paddle boarding and already know I'd love it.

Первый опыт такой масштабной постройки, получился в итоге не идеальным, но всё ушло на второй план после выхода на воду, стало ясно что нужно доработать, на второй день с друзьями провели почти весь день на реке, supboard работал nonstop, море удовольствия. 🤙🤙🤙🤙✌ thank you Aaron!

G'day Aaron. Great work mate. Love the look of the Wombat. Couple of questions. 1. How many days was the 25hrs spread over? 2. Have you considered a skeg box for ease of transport and less risk of damage? 3. What was the final weight and the weight limit? Cheers

G’day Graeme, thanks mate! 1. The Wombat was built over 2 and a half weeks. So pretty quick. 2. Yep, I have a fin box modification in the works to swap out fins. 3. Final weight is 11.5kg and can take around 110kg. You going to build one?

Could the Wombat be fitted with an "innie" handle, like the Cutwater? Imo looks much nicer and less cluttered.

Why do you even use polyurethane glue? Isn't that all possible with epoxi and you don't have the excess glue? I haven't found the plans on the website, where can one get them?

You should watch would buy rights test of urethane glue you'll think twice about using.

I’ve been using polyurethane glue for years. What’s the problem??
