Tal & Ori were living a relatively traditional life in Israel, when they were surprised by the birth of their twin girls. They quickly realized that if they both continued working, they wouldn't be able to give their daughters as much of their time as they wanted to. Instead, they decided to use this opportunity to go remote & chase after the nomadic lifestyle they had always dreamed of. Their skoolie features a dedicated passenger seat, large living room, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, & tons of storage. Not to mention, the outside is painted a beautiful baby blue & has an outdoor, fold-down deck, perfect for hanging out as a family.

Thanq for the video What a brilliant home on wheels you have, you even took your children into consideration, which is unusual, I've just watched one tour where one child slept on top toilet & the other on top of bath, which isn't nice. I love your home on wheels, it's got plenty of storage & the girls bed is perfect. I love how they bathe in sink, my sister & I used to do that MANY years ago. Stay safe on your travels. 😚😚🎆🎆🌏🌏

Surely there would have been space if a wet bath was a priority for Tal & Ori. However, the multiple uses and flexibility of the bathtub/shower set up is pretty hard to beat!

I saw the Peacock feathers at the ac...just so you know it is REALLY BAD LUCK to have Peacock feathers in your home. I know ,they are absolutely beautiful BUT ...they do bring bad luck. So you have your warning, please just leave them somewhere. Then if someone finds them and takes them ,then it is their luck to be on shakey ground. Peace and Love ❤️

I've watched hundreds of these bus videos, and I really hate to say this, but I came away from this video just feeling really bad for these girls. The bus is too small and cluttered and lots of it seems unfinished or poorly thought out. I was getting serious Great Depression vibes from the whole thing. Kudos to them if they're able to enjoy living in this tiny bus, but I would be absolutely miserable having to spend even a single night there. I think they really should have shelled out for a longer bus and towed a vehicle behind it, created a dedicated bathroom, worked the roof into a deck, put some more thought into their living room, and gave those poor girls some more space to breathe. However, I'm just a stranger on the internet and I'm sure these parents know more than me about their family's needs. As someone looking into the bus life for my own family, I do appreciate these videos to show me how I might do things differently. The number one question I ask myself is "will my children enjoy living here 5, 10, 15 years from now?" and make sure I'm designing the bus around their growth and comfort. Actually, long buses are cheaper than our amazing mid size 30'er, so "shelling out" wasn't the problem here. Also - trying to fit all the functionality in a smaller floorspace requires putting MORE thought than just cramming a regular layout of a 900 sq foot house into 200-300 sq ft space, so definitely lack of thought wasn't one of the problems of this build 🥵 I actually did leave room on the roof at the back of the bus for a roof deck, but honestly we never felt a lack of a roof deck especially since we put on the side deck, so I probably will pass on doing a roof deck. And thats the beauty of this lifestyle, we only really have/use what we need. Regarding space for the girls to breath - we are out boondocked out in nature the vast majority of our time, so the girls have PLENTY (!!!) of space to breath (and run, play, build...) 🥳 You're welcome to check out our instagram channel to see for yourself if they are poor and miserable instagram.com/twins_on_wheels_/ Regarding what we may or may not need 5, 10 or 15 (!!!!) years down the road - who cares? Would you rather be living an amazing life now or be stuck in a life that you THINK may be good for you in another 10 years? Trying to build your life around something you think MAY suit you in another 5-15 years is an amazing way to be miserable in the present. I highly recommend building your life to suit your current needs, and adjust as those needs change, because they may change in way you have 0 don't expect. And thats the journey we are on, which started 2 years ago all 4 of us in a 20' ram promaster which we were in full time for 9 months. When we grew out of that we switched over to our current set up, and I have no doubt there will be many future iterations of lifestyles over the next 15+ years.

It is fun to notice what you like and what you would change when it comes to a tiny home build. And surely, living tiny with kiddos can be a challenge. However, Tal & Ori are wonderful examples of people who prioritize the needs of their girls and family above all else. The wonderful community and wealth of experiences that their girls are growing up with surely makes up for some of the more challenging parts of buslife. :)

@@brutally_honest Thank you so much for your reasonable response to my criticism. I regret how harshly I worded my comment and was losing sleep last night thinking about how it came across. As to my point about designing for the future, I do find myself spending too much time focusing on tomorrow and less on living in the present, so you are totally correct that today's needs should take precedent over tomorrow's potential ones. We can always adapt, which is part of the appeal of this lifestyle. Your daughters are beautiful and I wish you all wild success!

They have done an excellent job with their build and sharing their dream with their daughters. I look forward to seeing more of your tiny home videos! They are incredibly inspirational and I wouldn't even be considering a change to the tiny living lifestyle without them.
