This is so pretty!! I'm doing this pattern for the first time with my measurements but I have a problem, mi bust width (the part where you create the cup width) is longer than 1/4 of my waist because I have a big chest and it looks weird on the pattern, it goes over the 1/4 waist line. I don't know what to do :(

Hey I've been trying to sew one of these myself for the last few days but on my mockups the cups aren't lining up with the rest of the fabric. I've measured it over and over and it should be fine. Do you have any extra advice for sewing the cups to the top?

I know, sewing the cups can be very tricky, try to make a stitch around the cup bottom and pull a thread slightly so it create nice round shape. Also tack it by hands before stitching on a sewing machine. If you’ll end up making it, consider yourself a hero😉

I reccomend something light and flowy because of the skirt.

This isnt helpful. You could have spent sometime subtitling or even voicing over this video to let us know in a comprehensive manner what you were doing. For ppl who dont sew or who are learning it helps.

Why would somebody who doesn't know how to sew try to make this dress? When you learn you start with basics, not a dress with bustier and lining. If you have some knowledge of sewing the video is perfectly understandable. And if you don't have the knowledge, don't jump into high waters with more complicated patterns 🤷‍♀️, just make something simple
