As a first time mom to a rambunctious 18 month old, I've been trying to find something to keep her entertained, but that helps her developmentally and intellectually. Nowadays everything is about tablets and apps 😔 and I am so happy I found this! Super amazing work. I have no DIY skills but this gives me a lot of ideas. Thank you!

These activity boards are great, I’m really impressed with the skill that these fathers have in building them. One thing that I would do is build a website that shows the particular lesson which is being taught with each board. For example, the first board should teach penetration. There might be eight activities which teach different ways to put one thing into another. So you might have a big plastic pin which needs to be hammered into a hole. Then a big plastic screw that requires a wrench. Then a plastic pin that has to be wiggled into place. Then a pin that has a reverse thread. Then a disk that rotates into place edgewise. Then a hole with five pieces that have to be pushed into place all together. And also a pin that has a few reverse threads, so the kid has to keep changing direction. The object is to teach the kid how to analyze a situation, and then choose a solution. There are probably thirty different game options, ranging from easy to difficult.

This was simply amazing and repeatable. My only worry is the metal latch plates. While open they present a scratch hazard to toddlers losing their balance. They need to be coated in some kind of safe plastic or rubber so that a toddler won't get scratched if they fall forward on the Busy Board. Toddlers always bend forward to catch their balance before falling. Especially if they are at face level or below the chin.
