I once again realized how incredible you are. You create absolutely stunning airplanes with rather simple material. I follow your channel for some time now and you enhanced and improved your building methods (and the quality of your videos!) a lot over the years. You inspired me to design and build airplanes out of foamboard myself and stop complaining about the hobbyshops not having the Kit i want :D I am very happy I found your channel a few years ago, I am excited for your upcoming projects and I wish you all the best for your future! Greetings from Germany

To build such an airplane, in this size, looking very scale in such a simple manner is just genious! Well done - again! And it flies so scale. I would add a slightly stronger wing spar. This one is definitely on my to build list! (together with the 747) Congratulations on a great achievement!

Fantastic! IRL if you have to lose a prop #4 is best. #1 goes into #2, #2 goes into the fuselage, #3 goes into #4, #4 just goes into the weeds. The quickest way to lose a prop is pitch lock which leads to over speed of the prop, then you over torque the motor truss mount and twist it off. Overall not a good situation.

Should be able to fly on one. We used to shoot approaches in real ones when I was a USCG pilot. We would feather 1, 3, and 4 and shoot the approach on #2. Then bring the other three back up for pull up and fly out.

Masterpiece as always. A 3m-span Hercules at an AUW of less than 5kg(!!!) is a real testament to your building methods! The low wing loading probably helped the engine-out performance too. I am curious, how does the wax-paper/PVA covering compare in strength to a covering of packing tape? I was surprised when I saw you peeling off the tape after forming the curves, though I am guessing the paper is a better surface for spraypaint. The paint job looked amazing too, so scale!
@JuliusPerdana Жыл бұрын
Thank you, about the covering, for flight strength yes, you will feel that all parts are more rigid, because the paper will stretched out when dried out, but for crash no. While packing tapes still survive on crash but not the looks, paper covering will tore apart.
@rcbinchicken Жыл бұрын
@@JuliusPerdana That is what I had suspected but good to have it confirmed by someone with experience 😁 I have only used packing tape so far, never paper. I also forgot to ask, will you do more flight videos with this plane?
