Sir! You have certainly improved your channel as if it needed it. Having assistance, I’m sure has helped your efficiency. This is a fine model. My vote is for the prop power. Simple, lighter, less expensive 👍

Great work! Your F-8 looks and flies so well. I use Adams Readi-board for models. It's 4.5mm EPS foam with paper on each side I think or 5mm thick. Instead of cutting multiple slices on the inside of the fuselage to bend it into a curve, I remove the paper on the inner side. I've been doing that, and then bending the piece on an edge. On some models I remove the paper on the outer surface as well once it's complete then recover with newspaper and glue. It can then be painted. I haven't added heat to help but maybe I will in the future.

You keep coming up with beautiful models of beautiful subjects. I built your Stearman last year and it is a joy to fly. Since then I have your T2 nearly finished and am expecting it to be every bit as lovely as the Stearman. Just started work on your iconic DC3 this week when I spotted the Crusader. I'm going to need more foam! I have been finding with some practice, that the foam sheets and hot glue construction is a very satisfying build method.

Wow this might be your best looking build yet! Beautiful!! 😄 And it flew great with both power systems. Although I always use props I must admit the EDF sound was incredible. One note, your CG was nose heavy because using a flying wing calculator does not take the horizontal stabilizer into account. One way around this would be to work out the CG of the wing with the calculator, then work out the CG for the H-stab as though it were a wing, and then work out the average CG by the proportion of the two areas. You should end up with a CG similar to your own calculation before, but a little further back. It won't matter this time, as you seem to have got it right with the "grass test" 😛 but maybe useful for future.
@JuliusPerdana11 ай бұрын
20% MAC = nose heavy, but 25% MAC = spot on
