DIY Calendula Chamomile Toner - How to Make An Expensive And A Cheap Toner

In this episode of DIY Series, I decided to make some Calendula Chamomile Toner as requested by you guys in my previous video's comments. But...with a plot twist.
Instead of making just one type, I made TWO, to show you how you can make the same item but different budgets.
I also share with you a little inside scoop in the skincare world on how a product can be similar yet are priced so differently (watch till the end of the video to find this out!)

The ingredients and quantities that I used in this video:
Expensive Version:
1% | 1.5g Magnesium Sulphate (Epsom Salt)
2% | 3g Glycerin
0.5% | 0.75g D-panthenol
95% | 142.5g Calendula Hydrosol
0.7% | 1.05g Polysorbate 20
0.5% | 0.75ml Roman Chamomile EO
1% | 1.5g Calendula Extract
1% | 1.5g Chamomile Extract
0.5% | 0.75g Liquid Germall Plus (Preservative)
Cheap Version:
2% | 3g Glycerin
95% | 142.5g Distilled Water
0.7% | 1.05g Polysorbate 20
0.5% | 0.75ml Roman Chamomile EO
2% | 3g Calendula Extract
0.5% | 0.75g Liquid Germall Plus (Preservative)

Ohhh i lovee everything you do. I have just one question. I do have only the Polysorbate 80 😁. How can i use 80 instead of 20. Shoud i just add smaler amount or its just not posible ❤.

Hi love! Polysorbate 80 will work just fine, but it will produce more foam in the product. You'll also need to use it a little lesser, but that also depends on the essential oils that you use. Some eos will require a little more solubilizer, and some dont. So maybe you can start with the same amount first as i used in this formulation, and adjust the amount accordingly. Good luck! :)

Hes you can dear. But Polysorbate 80 will take a longer time to dissolve, and will create more foams. But it’ll still work. 😊

Hello. I have epsom and calendula, gliserin and distilled water. I interested to make the cheap one. I don't plan to use any oil or essential oil. Could I make the cheap version without polisorbat and preservative, but add epsom. How the recipe calculation u recommend? TIA
