When you are saying to cut 1/4" in from the edge of the pattern, do you mean along the entire length of that edge, or just the distance that you mark off in the video?? Thanks for the tutorial and mods to the pattern!

I have purchased many of your products and a lot of helmets/ masks. On your videos you mainly use contact cement. On the captain America helm you are using hot glue. Which is better in your opinion?
@RAWKUSTOMS2 жыл бұрын
Hey Carl good to hear from you. This is an early build when I was first learning. I recommend contact cement for most builds however hot glue is good for adding poly foam inside helmets and gluing to fabric Thanks for watching

Quick question, could I use like a blow dryer for hair in place of the heat gun? Or will it not get hot enough or something

Will a hair dryer work like a heat gun?
@sharkdoodoo97499 жыл бұрын
I've recently bought a Heat gun. I have tried a hair dryer but it's not the same. The hair dryer takes longer to Heat the foam and the foam dosent really heat up the same way a Heat gun would.

What's the point of having all the triangle indents on the template if you don't use them on the actual foam?
@anarchsnark8 жыл бұрын
+Jason Yung The template originally is for a cardboard build which doesn't have the same flex as foam. In the vid you can see him modify the template (taping the curve indents) for foam.
