You're Visual Triangle or Triangles in this case is what I think your "3's" way of trying to explain how the eyes are drawn to see this as aesthetically pleasing

I love the ink blending and using the grey. I know to use grey primer when painting walls with dark paint colors. Never crossed my mind to do that with inks too.

when your ink blending there are a few things that help produce great results... the paper you use and the type of ink you use... if you have a hard time getting a good blend, the most "blend-friendly" ink I found is Distress Oxides by Ranger. It helps. As far as paper, the most cost-effective paper that will give you great results is either Neenah Classic Crest (80# or 100# are what I use) or Hammermill 80 or 100 # (the one with the chameleon on the front of the package)...
