Supplies -- "The Easel" Stand:
Sticks (Long, Cylindrical Item: Pencils, Kabob Skewers, Etc.)
Connectors (Rubberbands, Hot Glue, etc.)
Steps:
Step 1: Create Tipi with Sticks
Step 2: Create Easel Bar
Supplies -- "The Lawn Chair" Stand:
Thick Gauge Wire or Paperclip
Steps:
Step 1: Create "V" Base
Step 2: Create Triangle Peaks
Step 3: Create Phone Hooks
Supplies -- "Character" Stand
Any Personal Object (Clay, Wood, Plastic, etc.)
A "Block" Object
Steps:
Step 1: Place Character on One Side
Step 2: Place Block Object on Other Side

Very helpful. It only took me 5 pencils, 3 rubber bands, and 5 minutes. This also works for portrait mode

Improve the wire phone cradle by cementing beads at the tips. This will add colour and also cover the sharp ends.

An alternative for the paper clip is the wire from a spiral notebook, it is a little bit easier to work with and bend too

Or just buy any flip case, and you can use it as a stand. Even the ones that don't have kickstands. The flap works very well as a stand. Just angle it, and it should have enough grip to stand in most surfaces. I have a basic s view case for my note 3, and it works as a stand, no problems, and it's super stable.

I really loved this video! I made the one that you made with the paintbrushes but I didn't have any of those or basically, any type of pencil so I used Popsicle sticks instead. I love how it turned out! Thanks for the idea!

i did the first one and for the sticks a used crayola markers wrapped in ducttape and for the other part two pencils stuck together and i just hot glued everything. it turned out really nice.
