A different approach than I’m used to. That’s interesting about mixing glue in, I’ve never heard of that. Excellent suggestion with the wire mesh, of course. One of my projects next spring is to make a rhubarb leaf birdbath with the leaf imprinted both on the inside and the outside. where did you get the idea for using glue?

Thanks Jennifer. The birdbath sounds like a fantastic idea. PVA glue was an experiment we tried some time ago after reading that it can increase/improve fluidity to the mix. We have cast many planters directly in or around plastic tubs as a mold, but the dirt or sand mound casting is great cause you can make large shapes too. Also the moisture from the dirt helps prevent cracking as it dries. Best of luck we would love to see pics of the bird birdbath ya make!@@JenniferWales-tb8hm
