Should have done the holes before putting the plant in. And Penn was correct, it has to be thick. Great job guys.

I think one of your concrete mixes are off, too soupy. Beautiful end result! And OMG watch out not to drill into your hand! That was close.

Ok, next do hypertufa planters!

What words are these?
@cristinarnold5 жыл бұрын
That's actually what I thought they were going to do until I saw the intro🤗....lol....both are great ideas, and the hypertufa planters are great for fairy gardens! I made one last year, but I also used a broken terracotta pot and made theirs with it, putting plants in between the layers.....very nice to have a tiny succulent garden, 😉🌱🌿🌵
@cristinarnold5 жыл бұрын
@@holdernessfamilylaughs its where you use 2 container one smaller than the other, and in the big bowl poor concrete, then pull the smaller bowl on top leaving the concrete to set as a thick "cake like" bowl in the center. It comes out looking pretty cool. Google it! I'm sorry for trying to explain it. I sound crazy 😂😉💚
@peggyharris78495 жыл бұрын
Hypertufa looks like concrete but has peat moss in the recipe and is therefore VERY lightweight. Great for large planters you don’t have enough strength to move. And they can take on any shape. They can be thick, too - not like dishcloth-thin planters.

Yeah let’s pore concrete from the bag without a face mask so we can breathe in Cement dust. And yes, you used to much water. Don’t get me wrong, I love your videos, but don’t forget to think of your health. use those face masks, especially with cement dust.
