DIY CHANEL SLIDES

How to make a pair of Chanel inspired Flip Flops or Pool Slides. I've been totally obsessed with chain, pearls and jewels. Embellishment ANYTHING SLIDE is totally trending this summer and decided to do my own version.
This project is EASY. Like seriously. I made these in a few hours.

OMG…These are crazy comfortable! Gotta warn you though they run really big, normally I wear a 10 and had to buy a 9. I picked these up from DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse for about $35 + I had a coupon $10, so paid $25.

Thank you for posting a comment, I'm sure you're not the only one that feels that way. It is several steps but they are totally manageable, I try to include everything you need to know so you can tackle it with confidence. If you have a question I'm here, ask me. There are a handful of other channels and for the most part all they do is glue. I don't find that challenging so I post things/ideas/projects where you can learn not just be entertained. My goal? is for people to ask you where you got that - - so you can say "I made it' and feel a sense of pride 'cuz you smashed it. Now one last thing, hands down these are my favorite shoes they feel like you are walking on clouds, I kid you not. I love them so much I'm posting another video soon - - be sure you stay tuned, this time I'm getting my Gucci game on.

Even if you don't sew you can do a modified version by glue + stick. Try a fabric that is already embellished or a pre-made trim. There is always a way!

Thanks! Not sure I completely understand. I basically made a cover with added stitching (to make it look authentic), then glued it down. No other steps after glue.

😍😍😍Yes!! Your videos give me life!! I do have one question - as an experienced seamstress but someone new to leather my home machine is not cutting the mustard... what kind of machine do you use? and what do you recommend for a beginner?

I use industrial sewing machines, I have a Juki, Seiko and a Tuffman. I use them all but for different reasons, depends on the kind of project. In terms of advice? I'd ask how serious you are about your leather game?

A lot of DIYers use E6000. Why do you use cement glue vs E6000? I'd like to know for my own DIY use. You're more advanced than many of them, so I need to know why it's better and in what case I shouldn't use it on fashion:clothes, shoes, leather purses. TY!

If you want something to turn out nice, you gotta put the work in. You can always buy them full price $1100 - $1350, or maybe consider "used" for a bit less? Check Ebay or the RealReal. Hope that's helpful.
