Great Tutorial on Tassels, you ever thought about giving some classes, i,m from NYC. and have family there, I reside now in Norfolk VA, nothing for me to drive or get on Amtrak, i,m due for a NY trip. Think about it. Fee would include maybe 2/3 projects including leather etc. Maybe a 2 to 3 day class. I,ve been sewing since 9 and all the classes are so same like, leather is interesting, you have to be precise when working with it. Thxs for sharing.

I LOVE your work and want to try making leather tassels myself. The problem is I can't find nice leather. Either it is faux vinyl or very stiff leather. Where do you get your beautiful leather?
@iLoveLeatherNYC7 жыл бұрын
Hey! You're in luck. As we speak I am working on a Massive Leather Haul Giveaway + Subscriber vote for your favorite cross body challenge. 3 Bundles are being given away. You can make really cute tassels from any of this stuff. (Email me off line and I'll tell you where I shop)

Video a little to long for you? lol. I can certainly get that - - if so, your probably an advanced sewer and craft queen. I do the longer ones for all the people in the back who are first timers.
@rebeccawong14 жыл бұрын
iLoveLeatherNYC no advance sewer myself. Just a humble opinion as I wrote how I felt generally with most viewers.

iLoveLeatherNYC ... just scrolling down to see more comments ... no wonder you found it difficult to accept one not so favourable comment as you were flooded with positive ones. Look both sides even the cars usually come from one directions, my parents once said.

@@rebeccawong1 My parents used to say, if you can't say anything nice, say nothing at all. I really do not mind constructive feedback or criticism if its in the spirit of making the videos better, but if you are going to take a swipe just for the heck of it? Keep it moving. Not what you would have done? By all means spend your own money (equipment, set-up, materials) and start your own channel.

Love ❤️ your videos!!! So glad I found you! My father has worked with leather his all life and I have learned so much from him that I want to keep working on my skills! Wish you all the best this new year! Look forward to learning more from you!
@iLoveLeatherNYC7 жыл бұрын
Yes learn as much from him as you can, I'm sure he is your treasure. To go get to the next level you'll have to push yourself. I will often do the same project multiple times until I have it perfected. Ask your father for his honest and stern critique of your work - - (he will not want to hurt your feelings) but you need that to improve, excel.
