That robins egg blue was so gorgeous to me but i know the style is to muddy it. It’s still pretty but im gonna make myself a robin egg blue ornament lol.
@designsbyJ11 күн бұрын
@@deehowe8650, it is a pretty color. Raw paint, however, is not a finish. To keep it the true color, it would need to be topcoated or clear waxed.

Where do you buy those kind of baubles?
@designsbyJ10 ай бұрын
I ordered them on Etsy 2-3 years ago. Try checking Aistcraft.com. I think they may have some.
@carlamhaight11 ай бұрын
This is beautiful, amazing. Two questions: did you use Hearty clay? Why did you paint the bauble white and then go over with the pale blue/green? Thank you for sharing. ❤❤❤❤
@designsbyJ11 ай бұрын
Yes I did use the Hearty soft Clay but the handle was resin. I painted it warm white first as a base coat. On the second coat (last minute kinda,) I changed my mind about the color. 🤪

@@designsbyJFunny, I was just trying to eliminate a step.
@designsbyJ11 ай бұрын
You can eliminate a step if it’s chalk paint. I wouldn’t use acrylic as a base coat; chalk paint is a much more reliable bond and dries soooo much quicker then acrylics. 👍🏻
