My wife told me she needed me to make her one of these, so... well, you know. I have plenty of liveoak firewood stacked up so off to the wood pile I went. Found some suitable pieces of oak and made this deer. I had to put my own spin on it though because I never really liked the straight log head I'd seen on most of the others. So I through it on the lathe and turned a snout. Shot it with a few coats of spar varnish for protection. If you have questions that I didn't answer, feel free to contact me. Thanks for watching.
