What are the size of the wood with the screws in them
@MoxieScene3 жыл бұрын
Hey! Are you referring to the posts that hold up each layer? If so, I believe each post was about 12" - 17", I don't remember the exact number, but we made sure to make each section tall enough for some of the taller houses.

I am curious as to how that paint held up for you over time. I bought the same kind, painted something even though I realized it wasn’t acrylic paint. It didn’t hold up well at all.
@MoxieScene4 жыл бұрын
Hey!! I think the paint has been okay for the most part, it might be chipping in a few areas though, but it's mostly covered with the snow anyway. 🙂

Moxiescene That’s good. I was thinking it might do better on wood since it’s porous. Loved your video by the way!🥰

Where you buy the little houses?
@MoxieScene2 жыл бұрын
Hey! For me, my family collected them over many years, but I've seen similar ones for sale at places like Hobby Lobby, Johanns, Michael's, or other craft stores, but also check out Walmart or Target!

I really love this and it's cute and I love the concept but for a diy it's not a super easy project due to the tools and everything you have to have. All the other things are great !

How did you electrify the whole thing? I didn't see where you put all the cords for the village pieces.
@MoxieScene6 жыл бұрын
Ed Swart Hey! I basically just used several regular extension cords, that I hid under the snow. I would say for this one in particular, I used around 4 or 5 cords, and each had 3 plugs. I'm sure there is a better way, but it worked for us! :)

how did you store it after christmas? thank you
@MoxieScene5 жыл бұрын
Hey! I found a few old blankets at a thrift store that I made into a sort of bag. I put all of the little nuts and bolts into a smaller bag, and the big pieces store fairly flat :)

What are the sizes of each pre cut tables?
@MoxieScene4 жыл бұрын
Hey! I'm pretty sure we bought 1 of each of the sizes that Lowe's had in stock: the top/smallest being around 24", the 2nd piece around 26", the 3rd around 28" and the bottom one around 36" :)
