The rims made of stainless steel pans looked amazing! Try it again with really heavy gauge pans and maybe a disk of flat plate in the middle for extra stiffness around the hub mounting. I think the tyres being stretched on the enamelled pans help those to fail, but they looked pretty gash anyway. Great vid - even with a minute of blankness at the beginning!

I definitely think instead of a tube, they should've sealed it all with something like window weld. It makes a really good seal. Heck, normal multi piece rims use silicone to seal up the seams.

I had a childs wagon that had rims similar to those. They worked about the same. It will work, but you need pans thicker then the steel of normal rims.

i would say go with the stainless steel ones but put like 5 on each side, put epoxy in between each layer, and attach the 2 sides togather lol... bet it will hold.

I think this concept would work if they used 5-6 stainless pans big to small drilled together. Would give it strength and good look. Aligning pans for bolts and drilling a challenge tho. Would need to glue pans together first.
