I love this video. It's pure ocd but it is perfect. The double sided velcro / laminated tags / focus chart are good tips: not needed for every shoot but still useful. -I personally like putting a Mini Calibrite Color Checker on the slate as the coloured bars on slates do wear off and do not indicate correct color.

Back with another question as I'm doing my own DIY clapperboards for my students. How did you tie up the washing line before adding it between the frame and the clapper part?

I used velcro tape so can easily remove it also from the clapperboard.

Not sure if all of them have same size screws, so better have a caliper to measure yours.

Thanks, the best fit, is going to be a M2.5 washer, for anyone wondering. I have the same model. The majority of the cheap clapperboards on the market share the same size and design. Really cool design!@@chungdha
