I just made this balm from your recipe. It's awesome!! Once I put the mix in the containers I didn't want to waste a drop of it. So, I put a cotton pad in the bowl and cleaned my NO MAKEUP face and neck. I had just colored my hair with natural Bigen dye from the store. Your balm recipe sucked what dye was stuck in my skin after the first shampoo. This is a 10 and 5 star all in one! I'm trying a few of your other recipes too. So far this and your herbal toner are tops!

I just ordered Shea Butter. I'm all about making or buying all natural as my skin is just as sensitive as yours and I never put chemicals on my body. I'm almost 45 and my skin is crazy good for my age. I'm obsessed with your videos now. You are such a little ethereal goddess. If anyone doesn't love you it's a THEM problem. I hope your looking into face massage with a good slick oil. It's amazing for you. Keep it up cactus flower!

Great DIY tutorial. Will try this out. One suggestion- you shouldn't wipe so hard on your skin. Softer (circular) motions are best to (help) prevent (less) wrinkles. Don't pull hard on your skin. Elasticity on your facial skin is sensitive. :) xoxo

Best to take this off with a face cloth and warm water. All that hard rubbing and pulling action on the skin while removing it is incredibly damaging to the collagen layers of the skin! So PLEASE use a wash cloth! But great product none the less. Great idea! Best to use this as a makeup remover only...not as a cleanser. Make sure you use your regular cleanser after using this!

I liked this idea, although I would probably rinse a bit more. Also, I agree with others that you should use a softer cloth to be kinder to your pretty skin. When removing makeup or washing you should use "upwards and outwards circular" type strokes to pull dirt from the natural shape of the pores. When applying foundation you use the opposite method and stroke downward. I enjoy these videos. I find them very relaxing! Thanks for sharing. :)

Can I just use shea butter and macademia oil? Instead of using two oils just use one oil?
@StephArizona9 жыл бұрын
Yes :) as long as you add the amount of the other oils using the macadamia nut oil. To keep the amounts same. For example, if a recipe calls for 2 tbs olive oil and 2 tbs of macadamia nut oil, the recipe would have 4 tbs of just macadamia nut oil without other oils. I hope this helps! :)

@StephArizona9 жыл бұрын
If you would like to put it in the freezer for a half hour instead of 15 minutes, you can try that too if it's hot where you are. The melting point for shea butter is between 104°-113°F so it shouldn't melt but you can keep it refrigerated if you would like to :)

+Steph Arizona thanks. I live in Australia and I have never heard of or seen Castile Soap, so I was looking for alternatives. sounds like whipped olive oil...
@angeladamico64267 жыл бұрын
Castile Soap is not the same as Olive oil. It is made from Olive Oil only...-No other oils. Castille soap is "soap" it just happens to only include olive oil instead of other oils. It is the gentlest of soaps. True Castille soap is formed in nature with the "natural" alkaline components that react with the olive oil to form the salt byproduct of "soap". It is not like the detergent bars in the stores when made properly. Homemade Castile soap contains Olive oil, water and lye (which is neutralized with the oil) and then the soap cures for one year to form a hard bar. Liquid has extra water included. Alleppo Soap is Castille soap with Laurel Berry oil. It is another rare soap that is renowned for its gentleness.

beeb929 i heard coconut milk, starch and lemon juice straightens hair over time (acidic mixture), but then i heard alkaline ingredients break the disulfide bonds (what makes hair curly), such as baking soda and high heat (flat ironing). im not suggesting the second idea, but thought it was interesting. the former might be "straightening" strictly as in smoothing, but possibly not changing the bonds...

Steph Arizona ya we start prevention at 40 age .. when collagen start to reduce , but not before 20 years😅when collagen is already there so it will be either adverse effect or useless dose
@wilted_rose5107 жыл бұрын
DoDe IRAQ actually you can preserve your youthful face if done early, i dont wana save my face at 50, that face will be unattractive anyway, unless i save my 20 year old looks well into my 50s, then we talkin

@gaileenkern32406 жыл бұрын
DoDe IRAQ actually after you hit your 20’s you start to lose elasticity and damage and wrinkles start underneath at the subcutaneous layer before they show up on the surface. The wrinkles there get worse and worse until the skin on top (epidermis layer) loses collagen and collapses eventually into visible wrinkles.

You are adding oils like you are actually picking oils to do spesific things ahahaha lol you are so funny! You can blend any oils togehter randomly and they all work just the same! Just dont use oils that cause acne on your skin or sensitivity but for the rest you can blidnly mix any oils and they all work the same. Your fancy smanchy diy is pointless and ps: oils DONT moisterize they nourish and add elasticity
