I like your method I built that a few years back, I had a decent survival rate, I struggle to keep clones alive. My current test is that I setup an open bucket with two airstones, cleaned up some outdoor roses and dropped most of the stem into the bucket. The lazier the better! Let's see how it goes.

Now I know the difference between the spraying method vs the air stone method. I had watched another video the other night on the sprayer method and thought it was cool - they built it theirs differently than you did using PVC pipes and different sprayer nozzles. But I liked that you demonstrated both method and I loved that you drew pics of both at the beginning to help us visualize.

Been using the sprayer method for about a year now. Works great. I only use the collars alone, the hole I drilled is just small enough to hold the collars. Smaller collar are better. I was able to fit 8 collars in there. I also use a air pump along with the sprayer it Helps cool the water a bit. Once I see feeder roots, 2 weeks usually, I transplant to a solo cup for a week and then into final spot after that. No need for soil till the solo cup stage.
