The most Pakistani and Irish accent to be precise but yeah, I get that a lot 🤣🤣🤣

I usually stick my fingers in the open spots and align it by the feel of it.

this is actually how you do it

That's actually a good idea. As you'll get a better feel for it than what I had. But it was my first ever clutch job so I went with the first thing I saw online 😂 I tried fitting the box afterwards and it went in no problem.

Never used one. That clutch cover has three openings around the edge. You use your finger to check plate position in each. Get them equal and the clutch is aligned. No need to ever use a tool when this is an option

Oh, didn't know that Actually 🤔🤔 Will have a look later to understand fully but always good to know an easier way 😉

Smart but obviously this is just to work on your setup, what setup is this?
@noorshah966 ай бұрын
Oh yea of course, it's just an idea. Every setup will vary slightly. This is a 6 speed setup from a 330ci facelift

The last one I bought was 10 dollars. So why take a chance on needing to pull everything apart again?

Tight project timelines 😂 Just wanted to get the fucking thing in. Tried fitting the box later and fitted perfectly. Probably got lucky this time but will buy a tool alright

@@noorshah96 I have a astra j does the subframe have to come out to do it or could you just slide gearbox along enough without removing it
@noorshah962 ай бұрын
Oh, I actually have no experience with those tbh so best of luck. Hopefully you'll find a way. One general advice I'd give is better safe than sorry as trying to wiggle stuff around other things, it can take as long as doing it the right way....
