No, I don’t think Barron would like doing that so much. It is a ton of work, which one might gladly do for their own home. When you are doing it for your own use, there is a pretty much open ended completion date. No deadlines to meet a stranger’s expectations. No level of quality or design esthetic to meet with a stranger’s expectations. No sourcing materials! Etcetera. Plenty of reason not to become a furniture maker as a business.

I freaking love everything about this channel. The only thing ive ever made with my own two hands was a leather card holder at bible camp. I still have it and its been 15 yrs. I dream one day about working with wood , being able to make something that will last long after im gone but beautiful to enjoy while im still here. @5:00- The saw is pulling more power because, when cutting 45 degree angles, it's cutting through twice as much material as it would with a 90 degree cut... And that doesn't include the extra friction of the blade impinging on the wood from having to try to hold a line during a 45 degree cut. Addendum: Well done with the furniture builds. I've made several pieces with a natural edge and guests compliment them all the time. I'm going to experiment with the "witches brew" you used for the finish to see how it works for our palate (we've gone with traditional stains: Oak, Maple, Cherry, etc.) and the bride, of course has her corner that is her palate, alone. **** Hint, Hint****, Barron

I love homemade items. The imperfections are what make it more beautiful, in my opinion. The desk is just amazing. Love the book shelf as well. Why buy something you can make yourself. In my opinion it's better than store bought. The coffee table is sweet.
