Amazed that solar panels and collecting rain water are not legal in some US states. What possible reason? In the UK and I believe also Europe the government positively encourages you to do these things for environmental reasons.

You're actually one of the first creators I started watching and I have never seen anything bad. Anyone saying that you should have other jobs just is bored... If you can make a living off of social media only then it means you're doing something right.❤❤❤❤

Thanks for sharing this is so interesting. I would like to see how you did your book journal. I had once bought a bullet journal but i think I felt overwhelmed by all the dots. Lol! My brain is very detailed so it was just like omg how am I going to do this. I immediately gave up. But i never really thought about all the different ideas you showed. Thanks again for sharing Elsa!

What state are you in??? You seem to have a lot of illegal stuff to deal with. If you are in a windy area, why aren't you using wind turbines for power? Why build a regular style house, instead of an earthship or in ground home, to take advantage of geothermal properties (keeping your home at a comfortable temperature, and growing food year-round? I suppose the hard, rocky ground where you are is difficult to work with? Did you build a Grey-water system ? Food storage cellar? I am teaching myself off-grid living, at my on-grid home, and am interested in your replys. One day, I would like to be off-grid without moving to a remote area. Thanks for making your vids, you bring up good points for people to consider.
@ElsaRhae16 сағат бұрын
A lot of our neighbors have tried turbines over the years but the wind is so strong the motors blow out. That’s what they say, we haven’t tried. We would need to blast a hole in our solid rock ground to safely secure one. Solar is more efficient with our extreme amounts of sun. We didn’t build a normal house. It’s a passive solar house made entirely of concrete and windows to collect sun in the winter and have cool air streams at night during the summer. Growing food all year round will be easier in a greenhouse because we live on solid rock.

We use an RV battery hooked up to a solar panel for our place and it works great. We've never run out of power. We also live in Missouri so we get a fair amount of sunshine unless we get a big winter storm.

Thank you so much for this video❤ now there is a big transformation ahead (baby❤) and time will be a lot tighter to find the right moments for journaling and any other selfcare rituals. My son is 8 now and my daughter 2 years old and I totally lost my self because of motherhood. And now I find my self in a very overwhelming state that isn't good for me and the rest of the family so I have to relearn being good to myself 😅 Wish you all the best in life🕊️

We must go through many many phases of relearning how to be good to ourselves as our lives change. Our needs are ever evolving. Hoping you can find the time to give yourself the care you deserve!

Depends on your state and county. They’re legal in our county so long as you have a septic system installed-even if you don’t use the septic system 🙃

I love minimalist journals so much. Thank you for sharing. I am at 3 notebooks a year. I think it's because I like adding postcards or memory ephemera such as a receipt or part of an envelope that will trigger my memory when I see them. At least 2 notebooks a year is a goal for me.
@ElsaRhaeКүн бұрын
LOVE the idea of adding ephemera. Used to do more of it when we traveled. Sounds like an amazing journaling practice you’ve got going on to go through 3 books a year!!!

We all have 24 hours in a day. I assume you spend a few hours each day watching TV and/or scrolling on your phone? If you want to journal (if you want to do anything in life) you make it a priority and you do it. Only takes a few minutes each day and it’s a highlight of each morning.

You ought to try charcoal briquettes in your stove. You can get them going with a Charcoal “Chimney Starter” device. Once burning, you can place them in your stove, along with the wood. Just an idea…
