Once again I was skeptical. I was like "but balloons are not strong enough". Then you started putting paper and glue on and I was like "but the balloons gonna shrink". I would do the second method but I would add the foam spray in the middle to make it stroger I would also paint it.

For anyone interested in the second method, I would suggest use some spackle for that gap! Once it’s dry, you can sand it, and viola you got a more solid looking ball!

Never really thought to use foam, an idea I am going to try. I have been using dry wall tape and plaster over beach balls to make those same shape for planters. Great diy as always.😁

You can find an old inexpensive Glass Top Table At An Estate/Garage Sale, You Can Look on The Apps "LetGo" or "OfferUp" From The PlayStore To See if Anyone is Getting Rid Of One & Both Apps Even Have A Free Section! It's Very Easy To Find A Glass Top For A Good Price, It'll Take A Little Looking But You'll Come Up With One. Hope this Helps 🙏

I own a coffee table that's kinda similar. The base looks like a slanted piece of rock and half of it has a rim that holds the glass then there's 1 ball holding up the other end. Kinda hard to explain. I bought that piece over 20 yrs ago. Glad to see it's back in fashion, lol. I would say I can't believe you created those but who would I be kidding.
