Love your tutorials. So helpful. One question. Where do you start the handles to make it more even? I’m guessing the first one should start on the highest side????

Hi! Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! I have a couple of videos showing the handles. You could do it on the two sides opposite of the starting point. So not where the round starts, but a little bit after that. Hope that makes sense. There will always be a slightly higher side to the basket since it’s basically a spiral. 🌀

Na pewno wypróbuję tą technikę zaplatania. Ja nawlekłabym igłę znacznie dłuższą końcówką, dzieki temu nie muszę przeciągać takiego dlugiego odcinka tylko przeciagam od razu całą długość ale złożoną na pół. Chyba dobrze to opisałam 😅. Koszyki super❤

Approximately how much of the filler cord did you need for this basket. How many feet is that roll you have there? Thanks. You are amazing! ❤

You’re so sweet, thank you! Well the roll was 100 feet and I used it for this and my smaller oval basket and still have like half left. Sorry I didn’t measure but I hope that helps! The link for the roll is in the description box. Take a look at the size options, I think you can get less if you want.

Yes that is exactly what I wanted to know. So a 100 ft will be able to make several pieces. Perfect! Now I know I would purchase the 100ft roll. You make it look so easy. ❤

Grazie! Il cordone di riempimento è di 12 mm e lo sto avvolgendo con un cordone di macramè intrecciato da 5 mm.

I did my first coil basket today. But the tuto I used, she pass the needle from the front, to the back. But you pass the needle from the back, to the front. I just want to know, if the side is important ? Did I start to learn it the wrong way ? Thank you :)

No, there’s no right or wrong. Some people like to wrap towards them and I like to wrap away from me. Do what feels most comfortable and natural for you.
