Come on dude! You need to restart the engine so that it cool down gracefully after the regen process. The regen process burns the soot that got built up in the filters. You can damage the sensor parts if you don’t cool down the engine gracefully.

my friend the engine is ever hot when running out even during engine braking the regen etc that’s why there a cooling system built into an engine to keep it cool during extreme high temper. Yes it’s maybe good to cool ya engine down never the less it wouldn’t make a difference. Def itself was one of the worst upgrade added to a semi truck which is why I now prefer older model truck Detroit 60 prefer

Date can be tricky if your running your truck at full speed it can burn that sut off but if your truck able to do the park Regan do so Ann look into deleting if possible that derate is a big

Send like the sensor malfunctioning some truck have more electrical problem than others def system is a very expensive system so hopefully it’s something simple with i was able to give better in-depth advice/info on the situation

It’s all depends on your budget an what you need it for in city or long distance I own a 05,06,an 2013 freighter. If your concern bout the looks of the truck then you may wanna go new but if your buying to run an make money then you just need something that’s reliable

Don't do it look for another profession Electrician AC HVAC or he'll go to work at Amazon you'll probably make more money there.Trucking is not what it used to be my grandfather used to make 70 K back in the 70s.Drivers are making less than that now but everybody else seems to be passing us up.Take it for me I've been doing it for 25 years in this day and age it is not worth it

I don’t get paid from KZbin for pics an I think I replied to a comment on stating that they couldn’t figure out the issue on the date so I sold the truck.PS my trucking business does well thumbs up or downs sure my income hope you figure out what’s wrong spend the money an stop being cheap
