My neighbors dog went ape shit when you sped up the dremel tool footage lmao

Ok, loved the idea but you never showed how it was assembled. I have no problem building the things you describe in the video but not really sure how the piston works. Could you do another video of you actually assembling it?

Thank you for the feedback! I will try and make the video better!

@@Flynntastic did you ever make an assembly video? This video only does how to make the individual parts. I can't see how they fit together.

did you end up making that assembly video? Interested in trying this.

Can you make a drawing of how the inside works and correct installation?

You didn’t show how the piston goes in, or how it works in the 4 inch cylinder

You should really explain how it works I’m curious!!!!!

The 4" pipe and fittings in this video are drain water rated fittings and not rated for pressure use. Be safe and use only pressure rated pipe and fittings for pressure use.
@Flynntastic4 жыл бұрын
It's all schedule 40, pressure rated. It's very important.
@alanb764 жыл бұрын
The 4" PVC pipe says "DWV" and "Cellular Core". Those are drain pipe ratings. It is also missing the "PSI" pressure rating. Schedule 40 doesn't automatically mean pressure rated pipe. The smaller barrel pipe is pressure rated. Note the differences in markings. The 3" and 4" Pressure rated fittings have cement surfaces of nearly 2" deep and are very thick (and expensive). Those drain type fittings shown here are much thinner and have glue surfaces of only about one inch deep. Also the large threaded plug and female fitting are drain components. See the fine print on the ratings. Pneumatic launchers are awesome! Be careful and stay safe!

@@alanb76 I switched out the 4"PVC before the build, but I will definitely check out the other parts. I'm building an improved one soon, I'll video it as well. Thanks for your feedback!

Where does the 3” end cap go?
@Flynntastic4 жыл бұрын
Inside the rear end, it slides as a piston to close & open the barrel.

Not really I have one I made just with 2 in pvc and a 1 in ball valve that sends a 16oz bag 200 ft no problem but was wondering how your worked

@@chrisguthrie0823 Any public write-ups on it? Just finished a DIY "Big Shot" and was all for nothing, didn't realize how easy these superior builds/launchers were (could've had my product days earlier, cheaper, had I found these vids sooner!) Curious where "state of art" is for these DIY tube-launchers now, anyone get past that awful "trigger"? Anyone figure out superior barrel & pressure-chamber dimensions? Presuming fatter/shorter chamber, and longer/skinnier barrel, would go a good way. What PSI are you running? Seems 100-150psi is all that's needed and that's simple w/ a $20-30 bike pump (ie no air-compressor or cartridges ever), what a brilliant setup this is going to change how I rig dramatically (ie setting anchors in adjacent trees w/o having to climb them! :D )

Well I did not adhere to your instructions to make sure all the fittings were pressure rated.... kzbin.info/www/bejne/iGPShHp-r6uFntU I could not find the pressure rated fittigs other than the pipe that was pressure certified
