Brandy, I watched this video for the first time a couple weeks ago. Since then, I made the cement bowl ( with the help of your video!) and now I'm re-watching this one so I can follow the steps to fill the cement bowl with wax to make it into a three wick candle. I LOVE how yours turned out!!! My question is: When I melt the wax shavings in the pan, will it ruin the pan or does the wax wipe out? Thanks, Joan
@joancarver14 жыл бұрын
Okay, update...used a pan and it was able to clean it out right away, However, I did drip/splash some wax on the side of the cement bowl. I'm hoping that when it is cooled and set, I can sand, the edge of the bowl, eliminating the dripped wax. Any tips? Thanks in advance. But, most of all thanks for this creative idea. I wouldn't have attempted it if I didn't see you do it on this video!!!!

You can just put the candles in your crockpot. It melts them, then you can pick out the old wick and pour into the bowl with the new wick - I use a hot glue gun on the bottom of the wick and then skewers. Put your crockpot insert into the freezer and once the wax residue is frozen it pops right out. Nice piece. Sorry it was so hard because it's really quite easy. Live and learn.💁🏻
