does the length of the rope matter? i'm worried i make it too long or too short..

Yes it does. Ideally you should determine what the rope length should be before cutting it. The best way to do it is to hold the poi straight from the handle and then extend it to your shoulder. When the poi head reaches your shoulder - that should be the ideal length for you.

Do you make the hole as big as the rope is thick or a little smaller or bigger?

Sorry 4 the late answer. I make the hole a little bigger, but it depends on the Rope you use. The softer the rope the hole can be smaller.

@@morgennachwacken DIY Jonglierfackeln sind machbar, aber nicht sinvoll. Es gibt 3 möglichkeiten. 1. Sie sind viel zu schlecht zum Jonglieren 2. Du brauchst ne Drehbank oder 3. Du kaufst einzel komponennten die so Teuer sind, das du gleich fertige kaufen kannst.
