I love you so much, I want you as my Mum in my next life! 😭🙏🏻💜 Applause for your husband for patiently lending a hand! 😂😂 I imagined him as a patient, long-suffering, quietly humorous Dad, like my Dad was. You're adorable! 😭😭🙏🏻🙏🏻💜💜💜💜💜 XOXOXO from India

A memory wire cutter is required when using memory wire to avoid ruining your cutters. They would probably be an excellent tool for the fourteen gauge thick wire

Because I’ve sold jewelry for years most common size for men is 8”, but also common is 8.5” & 9” super large wrist would be 10”. womens generally are 6.75” but most women’s bracelets come in standard 7” larger wrists are 8” & really large wrists is 9” anklets 9” & 10” so many fun things you can make in various sizes looks like you could adjust it easily if needed ❤ great video thank you

Just love that your husband modeled for you. My husband has modeled some of my crocheted items. They are good sports aren't they? I love the bracelets for men. There just isn't enough videos for that out there, well none that are as easy to follow as yours.

I don't know how I missed the very end of the video. I blame bad signal here in the country with being surrounded by trees. I just finished watching it again and caught my name mentioned. And yes it was me that asked about the sealing. I checked out the one you're talking about and it's very expensive. So I opted for the Renaissance Wax. I got it and I love it. It doesn't have a bad smell to it, kind of reminds me of car wax. It works well on each piece. So far I've had no problems with it. Sorry about missing the end of the video until now. Love to all....

Never worked with a gauge as thick as 14… it makes sense for hubby, though! I’ve made things and asked “would you wear” and he always says it would need to be thicker. Now I guess I know what I’ll need to attempt when I’m feeling strong! Missed watching this video when it came out because I was in Panama (the country, not city Florida) looking for a winter home. Looking forward to the next flight when we will be returning to the sun and sand for a 6-month stretch! And yes, one of the suitcases will hold beads, wires, and pliers…😂🤣

I love the slightly more antique look on most pieces...i think it adds substance to the piece and creates great contrast. I have tried the wax and the soray we can get in this country but i must be doing the wax wrong as it does not last and the spray smells awful . I would love for you to add the name of that brand from the States here and please show us how you put the wax,spray on to finish a piece!❤ I am no longer on facebook😢 love the thick chain..i also adapted one of your previous tutorials on making those twice wrapped links and shungite beads for my hubby. He loves it..thank you for being a great teacher.❤

It depends on what the item is if I want bright or patina. For cleaning my bright I like to use a mix of vinegar & salt, does a good job. In a pinch, I tried only once, a hard boil egg, cut into fours & break yolk up a bit and stick it in a small bowl, drop item in and close lid tight, all while it is hot, do not open till totally done, then find something to do for a good while. It works, but takes to long and I think the liver of sulfur does a better job. Also you sorta need to prop your item in the air just enough to not touch anything. As mentioned, in a pinch, lol! I am glad you showed a heavier one as I find it hard to come up with things for men and harder for boys. Thank you for this video.

I made this bracelet this morning and I really love the style. However, I used a wire which has been treated with a non-tarnish coating, so when it came to the patina process, I Ben after leaving it in the solution for more than 15 minutes it only really darkened where my pliers had been. I tried a couple of pieces of untreated wire and it was a matter of seconds. Anyone else ever run up against this?

Do you have the wire measurement length for a 20 gauge link?
@samanthalatimer1
@samanthalatimer1 Ай бұрын
With 20g I would make them much stouter and not elongate them, so as to keep them from distorting… although if you gently work harden the wire you may avoid this. So my advice is to experiment with lengths to see how you feel 😍
