@@rebeleye this is considered a corset yes. Way back in the day a corset was designed to cinch a woman’s waist in from under the bust to the hips and worn under their clothes. But now days they are more commonly over bust corsets with or without straps, ending at the waist or the hips and mostly worn as an outer garment. No offence Indigo Heather 😊 You did a great job! 💗

Hi, Sizes after 12/2xl need additional knowledge, unfortunatly Im not there yet. I know that some pattern makers just scale it, but in my opinion it is not enought fir the garment to really look good, so I chose not ti do it so my product do not loose the quality. I am taking a course about the larger sizes, hopefully I will get the knowledge that I need 🌺

Hi, The corset is as regular measurements should be for a top, no changes or corrections made, so you should use your regulat top size/ measurements

Seams are suppose to be turned towards the center front and center back not all in one direction.

It doesnt matter what direction as long as they are mirrored

Hi, I do not understand what you mean by 1b If you look at the pattern pieces, there is a describtion on every piece what that piece is, like “center front” “side front” you also have darts at every piece on how to lay out the pattern on the fabric (the graneline)

Hi, You have 2 files= 2formats A4 and US letter, you should choose the one that you would like to print, Those are not main fabric and the lining details. Please read the info printed on the paper pattern, if you bought the pattern for this top then the main and the lining is the same pattern pieces. So you should make all the details both on the main fabric and the lining. If you’ll get other questions please contact me at Etsy, I dont always get notifications here 🌺

Please check the instructions, there it is stated that after you opened up of of the seams on the lining, you have to turn the top right side out and then hand sew/ hand stitch that seam together after you turned the top right side out

Hi, I didnt overlock it since there is full lining all over that hides the seam allowances, the fabric that I used do not shred much so it was not needed. You can ofcourse do it if you feel that the fabric will shred or if you’re making the top without the lining, of you’re closing the top and the bottom with bands or similar
