🎨 Materials Used:
Crepe paper in vibrant colors (red, yellow, white, etc.)
Floral wire and tape
Scissors and glue
Process:
1. Create the Hibiscus Petals:
Cut petal shapes from crepe paper (adjust size as needed).
Stretch the center of each petal slightly to create a natural curve. This will make the petals look realistic.
2. Make the Stamen:
Cut a thin strip of yellow crepe paper,. Fringe one side of the strip using scissors to create the stamens.
Roll the fringed strip tightly around one end of a floral wire and secure with glue.
Add a small red crepe paper detail at the tip to mimic the hibiscus’s signature style.
3. Assemble the Flower:
Attach the petals to the base of the stamen one by one, slightly overlapping each petal. Use glue to secure them in place.
Wrap the base of the flower with floral tape to hold everything securely.
4. Add the Leaves:
Cut leaf shapes from green crepe paper. Add small details by folding or shaping the leaves for texture.
Attach the leaves to the floral wire stem and wrap the entire stem with floral tape for a neat finish.
5. Final Touches:
Adjust the petals and leaves to create a natural, realistic look.
Arrange your flowers in a vase, bouquet, or decorative piece as desired.
