Just made my pillow cover from a pillow case that I completely removed the seams from and started from scratch following your tutorial. The pillowcase was a unique green that did not want to pay for in home decor fabric or an already-made pillow. Your tutorial was just what I needed!!

3 pieces work well if you want to add a trim like pom poms or piping into the edges. But if you want to make covers really fast then this is so easy. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.

i did this as my first sewing project, and the result was an 8/10. it took me over an hour because my machine got stuck a few times, and i accidentally sewed one of the seams to the middle of the fabric (don’t ask how i did that cuz i honestly don’t know lmao). the envelope part was a tinie bit wonky but we got there in the end, my pillow actually fits!!
