DIY CUSTOM Controller: Turning a Cheap, Damaged Controller into a Gaming Masterpiece

I made this custom controller and I'm going to show you how and why right here and now.
I also share my process for cutting and filing the controller for a customized feel and look. I added new handles to the controller for better stability and improved ergonomics. I cover the cut area with a two component air hardening putty to give the controller a new look and feel.

Did you change the internal motherboard shape aswell or is it not needed And did everything else but the rumble work or was that a prototype 🤔 I liked the video alot and its really cool to see Real custom modded controllers

Thank you so much for your comment! I didn’t modify the electronics other than removing the vibration motors. Everything works with the original electronics.

You contoller looks amazing! Dont you miss the haptic feedback? I have small hands so play most games with a ps3 controller on my pc but my ps4 wont let me use a ps3 controller. Maybe I need to mod a ps4 controller to be smaller lol

Thank you so much ☺️! I never really felt the imersiveness the haptic system was intended for and for the most part I usually disabled the vibration for more battery life.

What to you know! I should of made my research better (I couldn’t find one on my local store). While Combining the cases between them I also got a red and camo combination which I liked. Thank you for sharing.

@@LifeHackerMax yes the new v2 ranging from jdm-040 to jdm-055 don't have it, but the older models do, I'm not sure on the jdm model number though as I've only ever come across one in my fixing joblots journey. It sold pretty quickly though. There's another 3 jdm models in the older range so I don't just want to throw a number out there without fully knowing what it is. Your custom shell looks good though.

I honestly don’t know. It is something industrial that I got from a friend (from what I can figure it is something polyurethane based). But I believe it can be replaced with other air drying clay like Fimo Air.
