Yes you only need 1 although I'd recommend 2 to prevent voltage drop 1 for each headlight

How can you get the strip to default to white without having to connect to the box and turn it on white manually? Like on a newer car when you turn it on the drl's stay white. I don't want to have to turn it on and connect everytime I drive to set them to white. Thanks!!

The reason why people like me charge over 1200, 1500 a set, is because we don't use bottom of the barrel LED and supplies. And we use LEDs that you can actually see in the daytime. A blueghozt controller alone costs more than all your materials that you used in this light setup.

No, that's why people buy the 1,500 dollar lights. You have to build the circuit board and plug them into a ghost Controller. What he did, is a cheap way to make show lights. They won't function as brake, running, or turn signals. And they're not programmable.

You can't compare what you did with what they make. You just controller it with your remote. What they do is integrated into your car. Into your turn signals and brake. I'm trying to fish mine and doing it like they do is hard. Just throwing 2nstrips in there anyone can do but try wiring 20/20 led that have 2 colora on them and wire them switchback amd sequential at the same time when you're using your turn signal. Not hitting your lights are cool but you bought them like that. Wire up some sequential into your oem turn signal then you can talk about you saved 1500.

1 problem you will face using ws2812b leds is they hate heat and the inside of headlights get hot and the leds stop working after a few months
