Can you reflex silk roses?

Yes you can Kathy. A LOT of the silk roses have floppy outside petals. I would deconstruct the rose and remove the first set of petals, while you have it this way, reflex the remaining petals the same way he does it. If you don't feel that it is open enough put the first petals back on and reflex them. You can decide which way you like it and put the rose back together. Or, just reflex it before taking anything off , once you have reflexed it you can then decide if you need to take off the first layer. Always decondeconstruct your silk flowers and stash away in a bag or whatever you can use them as tiny pops of color in other arrangements. I hope I haven't drolled along not making any sense.
