Nice video Socrates. Thank you for posting it. From the images, it looks like you may have used a little too much DIY Detail Quick Beads. Just a light mist one or 2 pumps per panel. If you do accidentally get streaks ( we all tend to want to use more than needed), simply spray on a little DIY Detail Quick Beads, wipe and those streaks are gone.

Good to know. I like to over do it myself. Guess is a mental thing. 😁

Awesome great. Thank you. Yes I did use a lot more than needed 😭😭 I learned my lesson was trying to stretch the envelope. There another video coming out soon on how I used it also I did multiple panels at once. The gloss it leaves is really nice and rich. Appreciate the tip. I used a QD instead but good to know to just add more quick beads!

Don’t worry brother you was just in a good mood. 😂 we human it happens but we learn from it. Great video. Keep it coming

Are you saying apply quick beads back on the panel and spray off and dry the panel like normal to remove the streaks or spray some on a towel and wipe over the streaks then dry the panel? Thanks just want to make sure I understand what was said.

I've used Hyro blue...same type of product... Had issues with streaking when I used too much and didn't rinse off quick enough especially in the sun... 1 panel at a time, 2 spays only then rinse thoroughly,,,

Exactly. There will be another video it's already to be set to be released sometime next week. Of me using it the right way and using a lot less product.

It's interesting how they say to let it sit in the instructions, my experience with these types of products is you do one panel at a time, apply and right away rinse it, no wait or there'll be consequences. Rinse bottom to top to activate and then a 2nd time top to bottom.

Yes. I guess that's the nature of spray and rinse. It has to be super concentrated for it to work and if set too long will leave streaks. Goes to show how strong these types of chemicals bond. From McKees, Gyeon and DIY.

Our instructions say 30 to 60 seconds is ideal, 2 minutes maximum.

Quick Beads is one of my favourite products to use. @mr Lad has a great video on it. In the comments he gives a great tip on how to use it

Awesome . Yes I fell in love with quickbeads when you learn how to use it 😂😂. For this I was trying to test the limitations of the product. I will check is video out. I am always open to seeing others and I always do as well! 💪💪

Usually, the streaks are a result of too much product, sitting too long, working in sunlight, or not rinsing every spot completely. A lil elbow grease and they should come off with a quick detailer.

Yessir. I was testing the threshold of quickbeads I love the shine slick and candy gloss it leaves behind! Appreciate you watching my video. I did use some Paint Gloss from P&S to wipe them down. Just saw your review on the legacy wash sponge. Cant wait to put mines to the test brother.

I think you worked too large of any area before rinsing.
@DetailingMadeSimple2 жыл бұрын
I definitely did 😅. I wanted to test the limitations see how much area I could do. Especially on the shaded side. Better to test the threshold and experience it 😭😭 very frustrating
